How Curio Media helped top UK circus-theatre company Mimbre promote their 2010 summer tour.

The brief

In the summer of 2010 we joined the circus. Well, kind of. Mimbre are one of the world’s leading contemporary circus performers. A talented trio who have travelled the world with their unique mix of acrobatics and theatre. The company booked us to promote their European Summer Tour and enhance their digital presence. Curio Media was only too happy to help.

What we did

After some in-depth planning with Mimbre, we set to work to implement their Content Strategy. Phase one was a new blog build (www.mimbreblog.com). Next we needed content. With an editorial plan quickly in place, we began to produce and upload a unique mix of multi-media content, integrated with a Content Networking Strategy across key social media platforms. Throughout the four-week campaign, our Content Team were continuously producing blogs, press releases and articles to go out across the web.

The results

In only one month Mimbre had a new addition to their online portfolio. Mimbre Blog is a multi-featured, bespoke themed, multi-media site. Plus the ideal long term property for the company to ‘hang’ their latest news and information. It is perfectly suited for text, image and video content. It was a significant achievement to not only build and launch live the blog, but to have content populating the blog with over 30 articles of high quality web writing. Every article was keyword tagged for SEO and promoted via the social media platforms of Twitter and Facebook. It was dynamic promotion that was the key driver in the blog’s success, generating nearly 4,000 pageviews in just three weeks of being live.
